Merlin – Black oil reservoir simulator

Merlin is a PC based black-oil reservoir simulator system with pseudo-compositional components. The system allows you to quickly build reservoir models, run them, and visualize results of simulation. Merlin has all the features of a conventional simulator package plus a variety of tools for building the reservoir model,  reporting, plotting, and visualizing results. The system was developed using the same philosophy that guided us while working on Apprentice. Merlin is easy to master, easy to use, and cost-effective in all stages of a simulation study.

Although you can build reservoir models using Merlin only, for rather complex reservoir geometries or larger reservoir studies we recommend that both Merlin and Apprentice be used. While building a simulation model, you can import data generated from Apprentice saving a considerable amount of time.

To be satisfied with our Merlin package you will need:
 Windows operating system (95, 98, or NT 3.5)
 32 MB RAM
 Windows Me, 2000, XP
 128 MB RAM
 25 MB of hard disk space to install
 256 color video card or higher and color printer.
